Singapore Writer's Festival
Front of House Assistant
Singapore Writer's Festival celebrates the written and spoken word and it is one of the few multilingual literary festivals in the world.
I volunteered as the Front of House assistant for the programme ' 2021 Literary Pioneer ' at NLB Plaza where we get to interact with different people, assist with ticket scanning, registration, crowd control, ushering, ensuring that patrons follow the safe management measures and attending to patrons' queries.
Marketing Volunteer
For a Non-Profit Organization Movement Of Inclusivity (MOI)
MOI is a registered non-profit social enterprise seeking to drive a movement of inclusion in Singapore. It's mission is to connect with stakeholders to create and facilitate inclusion in spaces for special needs community.
As the marketing volunteer for one of their projects ' The Directory ' which aims to source for a list of inclusive spaces, I assisted in managing the social media content, publicising MOI by designing stickers, strut cards and brochures etc.
Besides that, we also went to eateries to review the venue on the service and interior prospects such as the sensory, physical environment that are made in consideration for the disabled and thereafter do up an article.
